OK, Guys.....I'm back in Car Chat (hopefully for good this time).
I came back to CL for a few days after my surgery, but then was advised to stay off the computer for a couple of weeks. That time's up now.....and I'm back on-line. I'm going to try and make the D.C. Auto Show (Jan. 28-Feb.6) for at least one or two days (often I do more).....hopefully with my usual free show passes.
It's been a long two weeks for me.........but, hey, I figured if Mike (1SICKLEX) could (and did) do a whole month's absence from CL a couple of years ago as a Lenten fast, two weeks was nothing.
I'm recovering very well after the surgery. And, as of last weekend, I was cleared to drive again........but probably no car reviews till at least early Feburary. The new Explorer will probably be first on my list (by request), then the new Dodge Ram 1500, then the new Ford Focus. I'll do the Hyundai Equus if I can get a conventional test-drive.
Great to be back. Now.......let's get on with Car Talk.

Thanks.
In my case, car reviews are also a part of my life. I'm looking forward to the new Explorer, Focus, Ram, and Equus.....though I'll probably see them at the D.C. Auto Show before I actually review them.
The nice thing about having Internet at work is that you can (usually) use it on your lunch hour and breaks.....or stay late after hours if you want. I often did that at work myself before I retired.
I would go nuts if I was forced to be unplugged for two weeks.
I'm too used to being connected for both work and fun at least 12 hours a day on weekdays.

Thanks.
Yes, feeling much better. Just getting back behind the wheel is a big help......and brings my relative independence back, of course. My brother drove my Outback a couple of times the last few weeks, so the battery would stay charged, the anti-freeze get warm, and the drivetrain lubed.
