Another brutal M3 wreck
#33
true, I have a M3 and it's probably more than anyone needs for the street. I honestly never drive it and say gee wish I was in a 911 turbo or Z06 or GTR.
I had wanted a GTR at the time they were too hard to deal with the Nissan dealers. I still would prefer a GTR only because it's more rare than the M3, but all around the M3 is quick enough for me.
I don't drive very fast as I am too aware of these types of stories. A former co-worker was nearly killed in a Viper (street race). We were not close friends just facebook friends but the last message he told me how his car was insanely fast with 600-700hp and next week he's in a coma.

Are they the guys that are expressing a lack of sympathy for someone that died while drinking and driving?
Or are they the guys that are defending the dead driver, in spite of the decision he made?
Apparently, you or no one you care for has ever been hit by a drunk driver. Trust me when I say that your perspective changes dramatically when you've been directly involved.
In spite of this, condolences to the driver's family and friends.

first link is 2years old.
Not to sound heartless but i have absolutely zero sympathy for this guy. Sure he might have been a great son/husband/father and his mother/wife/kids will miss him dearly but i've had a few too many friends and relatives lives ended because of a drunk driver.

It's easy to pass judgement.

Holy cow. If you look carefully, the license plate matches.
Above: His car, as posted by him.
Above: Media photo of the car, aftermath.
Very sad. Be safe out there, fellow drivers. The destruction of that car is just incredible...

say that when you loved ones were taken away because some drunk driving idiot.
it is a good thing that he passed away without taking someone with him.
zero sympathy for this guy. I do speeding in my car, but only on freeways. speeding + drunk driving in a residential area is a direct disregard to other people's life. it is only a matter of time for him to kill someone.

Its weird looking at those pictures of the curve where he crashed knowing what those red mark are. Sort of weird to see people driving on that road like they would any other day knowing the extreme carnage that happened only a few days before, sort of eerie, at least i think it is
