Woman 'hails' a cab from 23 floors up
Can't believe she survived. The picture is funny to me though. Wonder what she's thinking right now. Might be time for one of 1Sicks "Caption This" threads.

She hailed a miracle!
This woman jumped from the 23rd floor of a Buenos Aires hotel yesterday and landed on top of a taxi, which broke her fall and saved her life.
The impact collapsed the cab's windshield. Amazingly, the driver had just stepped out of the car or he might have been crushed.
"If I had not got out, she would have killed me," said the shocked cabby, 39. "I felt this explosion and I saw this woman's body sunken into the roof of my cab."
He added, "The first thing I did was call my family. And then I just started to cry."
Witnesses at the restaurant atop the Panamericano Hotel said the woman, 30, calmly ordered a coffee, took off her shoes and then climbed over a safety barrier to take the 330-foot plunge.
She woman is being treated for internal bleeding, broken hips and fractured ribs.

You know you are a LOSER when you fail to kill yourself properly.
What kind of jail time is that women facing? I know in most states it's against the law to commit suicide. I guess the law exists for those idiots that fails to kill themselves

Over and above the medical bills, the cab company (or the cab's owner) will also probably have a case against her for a totalled cab. If there's insurance on the cab, the insurance company, after settling with the owner, may come after her to recoup.
I myself, for one, feel that a human life is worth more than a car, and that her condition is more important than the car's, but that's not the way that it always works in the legal-settlement world.

Reminded me of that picture:
The Most Beautiful Suicide (just google it)
Of that woman who jumped off the Empire State building back in the 40s. Of course she didn't survive but she looked like she was laying in bed, that picture freaked me out in a weird way.

I just hope she had a heart attack before hitting the ground.
