I'm assuming the 2.0T (only) in the A5 has something to do with the upcoming MPG requirements...in any case, I think it DOES need more power...around 300hp to compete BUT I don't care if its 4, 5, 6 cylinder to get there.

slightly off topic but thought id comment.....
Its unbelievable how an 2008 S5 still is going for over $40K in most dealerships/ private party listings and ebay. (if you can even find one in an attractive color combo...and then one in automatic) Its 3+ years old now since the models inception and banks rated it as retaining about 60% of its value after 3 years.
....that would make it work about $36000 today...and youd be hard pressed to find it anywhere in the 30's. Very impressive resale on a gorgeous car.
