Good video, but the problem with most youth who do it is that they think they are invincible and this will NEVER happen to them, I know plenty of people who still do it : /...

The better reason to share this video.

You teach and teach and teach. It then requires a person's desire to learn. Either the easy way, or the hard way...

it's too bad.

idiots of all ages will continue to do it, and do it wrong.

common sense tells you that if you insist on using your phone, at least hold it at 12 o'clock, on top of the steering wheel, where you actually have some peripheral vision. not down low near your lap.

but kids these days are too stupid to function.

A bit unrelated, but, I was in a cab and looked out the window and saw the driver looking down. I then noticed his iPhone in his dash over the speedometer playing a movie. He was watching a movie while driving...

LO...BAM! telephone pole.

i think phone companies like ATT and Verizon should spend more money on texting awareness. It should be their duty.

they collect so much money on texting plans. It's the least they can do.

Texting and driving is hard, but try being one of us in the 90's who tried to drive and decipher a damn 25 number long text on our beeper when someone was sending a message in code.

Texting bad, even talking on the phone is bad. I don't care if you have hands free, your still concentrating on the conversation and not the road.

If you get caught talking or texting while driving, you should lose your license before you kill yourself or someone else. For christ sakes, I am 24 and I don't text or talk on the phone when I drive. I am more responsible than most people my age, or thats younger or even older then me. If people they are that important and need to text or talk on the phone, please get a god damn chauffeur!

I feel like if you averted your gaze off the road long enough to miss crucial details....you're reading the current message, thinking of the reply, and then replying all in "take."

That's stupid dangerous (as the video clearly shows).

Also slightly ironic that as the iconic pioneering career of the iPhone, AT&T probably has the largest client base doing random crap on their phones while driving...I bump into people all the time on campus too busy stabbing away at their iPhone and can't even bother to see where they're going.

Think of it this way... when driving at 55mph, you are moving 80.6 feet a SECOND! Look away at your phone for 3 seconds and you've driven almost 250 feet. That is a lot of distance not looking at the road. A lot of things could potentially occur during that time...

yes. common sense is to leave it alone.

But kids are stupid, and INSIST on using phones, even when they know the potential consequences.

kids think they are invincible and have huge *****, and don't learn until the worst happens to them.

so for kids with huge *****, I say- "if you're not gonna listen, at least hold the phone above the steering wheel".
