I like a clean, symmetrical designs - which is why I find the Toyota and Hyundai logos to be simply awful.
The Nissan logo is also pretty bad, esp. when it is plastered superized onto a grill.
The only logo that doesn't look bad supersized on a grill is the Mercedes tri-star design. The Lexus logo doesn't look as good on a grill since it isn't symmetical (it looks much better as a trunk badge than on the grill).

But at least it's symmetrical, and hence, better than the Hyundai logo - which very well may be the worst.

The chrome badges always look nice.
Lexus
Infiniti
Mercedes
Audi
It just looks real professional, compared to ugly worded logos, like Nissan, and Subaru.
I think the most iconic logos, are the ones that don't require the car name written, but a simple symbol, that when looking at, you know what it is.

^ Most everything is subjective (well, to a point).
Fine, I don't like the Toyota logo b/c I don't find it to be a clean design (as opposed to the Lexus logo).
There are people who don't think the Hyundai logo is overly busy, but I still don't like that one either.
Happy?

Benz as well, it screams classy. The spirit of ecstasy comes in as close second and prancing horse in third.
