My personal favorite, out of any car, is Pierce Arrow. Just look at it, its a chromed bit of sculpture.
Automakers, today, simply couldn't afford that kind of logo. Rolls-Royce is probably the only one that even comes close, and their vehicles sell for 200-300K and up.
For some reason, the Soarer emblem just doesn't work with the very modern, contemporaneity lines of the 2nd gen/90's car/Lexus SC. The modern Lexus emblem works a lot better with the flowing curves IMO. That Soarer emblem is a lot more baroque, would work well with sharp angled 70's/80's cars IMO.
EDIT:
I always liked the old Impala emblem, they used it on various years, the leaping impala in the circle, one of my favorite designs . . .
Here's something that may draw some interesting responses. What are your favorite current vehicle brand-logos?...and/or among those you think are the worst?
I'll start with mine: Those I did not list are all somewhere in the middle.
I really like the Alfa logo. I also like the Lexus logo and would put that in the top bucket. If we are talking specific car logos my favorite is still the Viper logos.
