The 2012 Nissan GT-R is already out destroying pavement and causing saliva stains on the t-shirts of slack-jawed enthusiasts. The engine produces 530 horsepower, the launch control system propels the car forward like a runaway bullet train and the styling continues to polarize those who stare at its lines. Now Nissan has prepared a more luxurious GT-R for the people and it's called the Egoist.
All the details surrounding the GT-R Egoist have not yet materialized, but a plethora of pictures has made its way to the web. We know the interior will feature upgraded leather and carbon fiber materials and that a multitude of additional color choices will be available. No word yet on the cost for this super luxury coupe.
If you're a potential buyer of the Nissan GT-R Egoist, stop staring at yourself in your Rinceaux full-length mirror and check out the gallery of your future ride. If you can't find the scratch for the 2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist, you can still click through the gallery and enjoy the opulence.

I sincerely doubt that's coming out. For one the leather interior and wheels in both pix was different. Not to say there wouldn't or shouldn't be many varying options available...BUT. Also, this excercise is much more easily at home on an Infiniti model. The Gt-r is supposed to be purpose built, bargain basement supercar. This would just make it
boo-jghee.

Most likely just rumors. IMO Nissan would have to add more than more leather and carbon to the interior and more color choices to make it worth while though.
Last pic looks like a V-Spec model with the different wheels and carbon spoiler.

Apparently it is real.
Reportedly worth $180K USD in Japan. Any guesses on over here???
And forgive the terrible music in the vid.

I like red interiors on white or silver cars, but I think it's a bit much on this car. I usually like the diamond stitch pattern on seats, but this one's not working for me. And is it just me, or are those pink seats?? I would save my money and buy the regular model.

LOL!
Reading comprehension is not strong in this thread.
Red isn't the only option. For those that haven't been in one or seen one....the interior of the GT-R isn't it's strongest suit.

It looks like a great idea, but I'm not sure if it's going to be worth the additional money. Having been in the GTR, I can't really see Nissan doing enough to make it luxurious. But the red is a nice touch; makes me wonder what other colors customers might choose.

Always loved the look of the r35, but seriously that interior breaks my heart! That interior in any colour would look crap... I think nissan should stick to performance and leave the luxury side to the Euro cars :P
