Default Catastrophic ball joint failure

A friend of mine pointed me towards this thread, my reaction was pretty much upon seeing this:

Improper installation. I doubt he used a hydraulic press to install them, hence the failure. DSMTuners is always good for a laugh.

That is why when I replaced my GS ball joint I used OEM parts. At least I knew around the time frame where it might fail, vs aftermarket where I would have no idea if/when it could fail.
