Land Rover Range_e announced for Geneva debut
Land Rover has announced plans to introduce the Range_e prototype at the Geneva Motor Show.
While details are limited, the sport-ute has a 3.0-litre TDV6 diesel engine, a small electric motor, and plug-in hybrid technology. Thanks to this setup, the Range_e can travel up to 32 km (20 miles) on electricity alone before the diesel engine activates to increase the range an additional 1,080 km (671 miles). Furthermore, the prototype can hit a top speed of 193 km/h (120 miles) while emitting 89 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
Additional information will be released on March 1st, so stay tuned for full coverage.
