Better use of that kind of money would be a Panamera S for every day of the week!

Even at $5 a gallon, I do not see where its worth the hassle of having two cars unless you drive a ton. Add in the money to walk out the door with the Prius, the new plate and yearly Plate \ Taxes, Insurance, and the gas and its not a winning deal...........

On top of the fact, driving a prius everyday is not the same as driving a GS in terms of fun, comfort etc, there is a value there people forget about.

So the prius math doesnt work, nor does a beater, in the long run there is no cost savings unless your driving a lot of miles and even then.................
yep, my bad the zero down lease is over...its as you stated.

I'd rather my $$$ go towards a "beater" or prius in my case, rather than to gas costs for exxon/chevron/shell etc...if it costs more...so be it.

...also, I don't want to drive the wheels off a GS or any nice car during my crappy s h i t t y daily commute...I could care less if I do that to the prius.

BOT -- highest gas in my area = $3.25 for regular 2-25-11

Just like clockwork...Shell regular up another 10 cents today, in my neighborhood, to $3.56. It has gone up 10 cents every day for the last 3 to 4 days.

I understand your line of thinking here, but an IS-F is no econobox.......that's a pretty fair amount of gas. But I agree that (depending on how much you drive) it's probably less than plunking down what a new CT would cost to buy or lease.
