I'm 99% sure when it gets to the U.S. It wont have that nice grill on there and Acura will replace it with an ugly one again lol. The JDM grill for the current TSX is SO nice, but the USDM sucks.

Just like the Integra back in the days, many owners will do whatever it takes to get a JDM/EDM front end swap. I don't blame them

That facelift looks very sharp and the front is nicer and sportier then the TSX version we have in the US. I hope we get that facelift and a version with the dark grill soon.

Now that looks good. On another note why in the hell would I buy a TSX knowing its nothing but an Accord overseas. US is just paying premium for the ugly Acura beak and badges. LOL. Does anyone know what the euro accord costs? Is it comparable to the us price or lower?

for the same reasons people bought ls400 and sc400 knowing they were toyota celsior and soarer overseas? either they knew and were proud of that, or didn't care.

For the same reason that Lexus IS300 buyers bought a vehicle that was marketed overseas as the Toyota Altezza. But it is not just a simple rebadge. both the TSX and IS300 have upscale features that their overseas-Accord and Altezza brothers didn't. The extra money was not just wasted.

something to replace my 08 TL-S with.
the new TL is just too big (and questionable style, even after redesign) for my taste.

The white Euro Accord sedan looks very good, and the details including wheels, grill, foglights, front clip, rear spoiler were handled especially well.

The Euro Accord has always been a more upscale more expensive car then the Accord we get in the states, it is more sport oriented, has higher quality materials, and more upscale options then larger US accords. The Euro Accord is designed to compete more with the smaller engined BMW 3 series and Audi A4, it is not sold as a affordable common family sedan in Europe. It is expensive in Europe which is one of the reasons it does not sell in huge numbers like US Accord does.

I don't find anything wrong with the Euro Accord being brought over and sold as an Acura as it is a nicer more upscale more driver focused car then the US Accord, by the sales numbers and reviews buyers and reviewers don't seem to have a problem either. It is not like it commands a very big premium over a US Accord loaded with some options.

There seems to be some confusion. The Accord we have now in the US will remain the same until the next complete redesign around 2013 which will have nothing to do with this updated Euro Accord (USDM TSX). This is not a preview of the upcoming Accord, it's basically the same as our 3 year old TSX.

Also, we may not even see much of a change with our TSX until it's full redesign around the same time (2013-'14). These two cars are very different, even different size.

IMO, the TSX looks very good with the Acura grill. It's not over-sized as it is on other models. For me, the Accord version is no better.
