1st 7 months of ownership Lexus GS350 vs Genesis........
Well, I have owned my Hyundai Genesis for 7 months now. I have 10,000 miles on it. Just got back from the Florida to Minnesota Road Trip.
Verdict: -- The car is Flawless. Not 1 Problem. Car is free from Rattles and is as tight as the day I bought it. I love my Genesis!
My first 7 months of my 2007 Lexus GS350, I had the following problems.
1.) Dash taken apart twice for rattles - (Still not fixed 4 times taken apart total)
2.) Fuel Door not shutting.
3.) Gas Line recall
4.) Brakes replaced twice for squeaking and excessive brake dust.
Lexus has lost my Business.

A few months ago I was stopped at a traffic light and I saw a sharp looking car coming through the intersection. At first I thought was a new Mercedes but as it passed, I saw it was a Hyundai. I just did a google search on the Hyundai Genesis and yes, I think that was it or possibly the new Sonata. That's a nice looking car. I had already heard good things about the build quality. I regret I didn't take a closer look prior to my recent purchase. It will be on my short list next time around... can probably get a slightly used, fully loaded one for a decent price too.

Thanks for sharing buddy. Its cool to hear the facts from an owner of both vehicles . I think your the only one on this forum who owns both. Hyundai is blowing up.

Good early report on Genesis, based on actual ownership experience, thanks. Hyundai hasn't earned my premium car business yet, but I keep them under consideration for my daily driver SUV kind of vehicle.
