Why the hell would you have a Scion concept and then a Toyota production at the Tokyo Auto Show? I call BS on this rumor.

because Scion is only sold in the USA and in the rest of the world, same cars are sold as Toyota?

Thank the L(exus)ord for a new GS. I'm very excited and it is perfect timing for me, I'm really hoping for a high MPG GS.

which would mean hybrid, which would mean it won't pay for itself unless you do a lot of city driving, or a TON of driving, period.

The GS is a very important car, hopefully they don't do conservative designs and use cheap materials, which seems to be Toyota's way lately.

I'm hoping this new GS is a huge improvement over the current one. At this point, I'd take a 5 series BMW over it any day.

Can't wait to see the new GS. Hope it's production and not a concept.

i think he meant pay for itself as in the the amount of money you would save on gas versus buying a normal non-hybrid car. Like how its estimated that in order to actually make money on the prius versus just buying a normal honda, you would have to drive for some ridiculous amount of miles that would take you like +10 years

GS is too important.

they need to top their original 2006 sales figures.

so far the infiniti M has been a sales loser. looks like they're only gonna hit 20000 this year.

but compared to what? GSh is as fast as V8, while saving fuel compared to V6 and V8.

You would buy GSh over V6 not just to save fuel - but to have significantly faster car with cool technology, and as such it has many advantages over V8.
