^ agreedd, you need to fix your attitude, you came in not saying anything about trading parts and just bashed people for stating an opinion which you immediately countered back with everyone has a right to share opinion? and because your young doesn't mean you can just do what you want and say what you want and expect to feel sorry for, not bashing you that was a great idea on the 2jz in a 240, but really what was the whole point of posting in here. i'm a newer member on CL but this had to be the most embarassing thread i have ever read.

honestly this was a bunch of nonsense over nothing. account2x said something and it started pointless drama. relax guys, and respect what he did for just being in highschool and still putting together a car with function and purpose in mind. appreciate that, instead of feeling the need to express your biased opinion against his work. case closed.

Though you are finding our posts biased and harsh at times, your immediate passive aggressive responses don't help the situation. The 2JZGE engine was used in several toyota and lexus vehicles as you know. I would feel lucky that you posted this thread in the SC forums. If you posted something like this in the IS or GS forums, I have a feeling those members wouldn't be as open to listening to your opinion. My suggestion is to post your comments and experience in the Club Lexus drifting section.

To the OP. I see you're from FL. SFLDrifters.com is full of broke ppl and 240 fanboys that share your passion for drifting. I do admit I love the idea of the N/A 2J in a 240. Quicker and more reliable than a standard KA. Being 18 and doing what you've is quite an accomplishment. Remember that haters are gonna hate lol. I had 2 S14s and 1 vert until I finally matured and got my SC

The point of this thread was to build a post count so club Lexus itself would allow me to post a for sale thread. I figured combining an introduction would be appropriate. I wasn't really looking for opinions on what people didn't like. I just wanted to show what I was doing. Clearly negative opinions don't bother me and aren't going to change the fact that I can't afford to paint my car...
You posted a car on Club Lexus that is a completely different chassis to what is on this forum. If you really can't take the criticism, you really shouldn't post on this forum. Earlier you said you were use to it because you come from Zilvia. Seems like you need to get used to it a bit more. Yes people calling your car an embarrassment is a bit much. Although it is an open forum so there is really nothing you can do about it. Maybe try posting in the Car Chat Forum.

I really like the idea and the amount of crafstmanship that went into it. I also really respect the fact that a young adult has built this car out of his own pocket. I am currently working on a 240, it is my project car with a few friends, but it is strictly a track car. Still dont like the 240 as much compared to the sc, but i love the 240 2jz combo. Since I am also a young adult, I also know what it is like to slowly build a car too your talent level. SO back to the point, Loving the motor/car combo. And i wish you the best of luck with the rest of your build!
