Personally, I think there can never be too many coupes.
Lexus seems to be the only higher end brand that doesn't understand many of us want coupes. Sorry, don't want to go off on that again.
I like the C coupe but have one negative comment about it. Benz is not producing an AMG E coupe. Instead they believe the C-AMG will fill that niche. DOn't agree with this tactic but what the heck, at least they have several coupe choices and that's good.

I like the looks and the numbers for this car but a coupe version falls into the same dilemma that the M3 coupe does. If only 2 doors are necessary there are better performance cars out there. A coupe is negating the utility that the E90 M3, 4 door C63 and IS F provide.
If a 2 door is an option, a Z06 or especially the GT R will badly outperform the entry level super sedans.

They are making this because the C-Class is going to be going against the M3 in DTM in a year or so. So with the M3 and new rules, they had to have a coupe version of their c-class car. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 'black series' of this either in a year or so. The E-Coupe AMG wouldn't make this useless. The E-coupe AMG would make the CL AMG useless. Acutally, it wouldn't. An E63AMG Coupe just might make it to production. The CL is based off the S series. So it's essentially a Coupe S. The E is a coupe based off the E which is the same architecture as the C. There's no 'CLK' coupes any longer. So the C coupe AMG will fill that hole. And an E class AMG might make an appearance. I think it's possible.
i will have to do something to my interior soon - this makes mine look dated

I said before I wasn't gonna go there but since the thread isn't getting new comments on the topic, I will.
Why can't Lexus give us coupes like Benz and BMW. It's obvious people buy them.
We had the SC430 but it was a controversial design and high price tag.
We currently have an IS convertable with 2 doors but that isn't really a coupe. It's a convertable....and it's kind of ugly with that long, high butt. Why not a real IS coupe. WOuldn't a GS coupe make you swoon? What's up with these guys?
