I was going to say the 280Z as well. I am surprised that Nissan has not tried a re-do of this vehicle as Ford did with the Mustang and Dodge did with the Challenger.

I thought the 370Z (and the 350z and 300zx) is the continuation of the Z timeline, no?

They're all called the Fairlady Z in Japan.

I think they are - they just do not look very much like the classic one. A redo of that style would be pretty interesting if they pulled it off well.
