ALSA's Mirrachrome
After looking at the Tron Audi R8 Chrome paint job, I came across this website:
http://www.freecarkits.com/chromecargallery.htm
^Looks like you can just spray paint your car Chrome.
Here's the paint job applied to a Toyota Supra:
http://www.freecarkits.com/chrome-toyota.htm
Honestly, I think it looks sick, but not sure on how the quality is.
Thoughts?
Edit: Also, here's the website to where you can buy it:
http://www.alsacorp.com/products/mir...irra_price.htm
^$80 for 4 ounces of Chrome paint.

The obvious reason why this is not more popular would be the blinding effect on a sunny day. It would make the car not only hazardous to its own driver, but to those around it as well.
I don't know of any Federal safety law that specifically outlaws chrome paint jobs, but some things don't have to be spelled out on paper....they are just common sense.

Chrome hood-scoops, though, I don't know much about any laws that expressly outlaw them.....you may be able to fill us in on that.

How sure are you guys that Chrome is illegal? I thought I read somewhere that it just depends on the state and jurisdiction, but I would assume that CA would be real **** about this.
