Don't worry, my brother who doesn't live with me. He was visiting me and got a parking violation because my city requires "town decal" and got a ticket for it. It could be void if he just look up the plates and see what city he lived in. He wasted his time to go to court to get the ticket drop and it like was like $50.

haha, yea better off to get their attention and tell them that they gave the wrong person a ticket. It says that if not paid in 10 days there will be a $15 fine.

Would that fine be null and void if the ticket itself is an improper infraction ticket? In my opinion, the police officer who issued the ticket should be the one responsible for paying the fine for wasting someones time and writing a fine for no reason wasting someones time.

LOL, I guess I am not the only one. I got a ticket for parking in my own driveway 2 months ago because part of my car was in the sidewalk. Took pictures, ticket thrown out.

Were any temporary No-Parking signs valid at the time? In my condo townhouse development, I have a numbered personal parking-space, but occasionally our maintenance guys and contractors put up temporary no-parking signs for a number of spaces when they have to do work on the pavement, painting/striping, tree-work nearby, etc....where you can't have cars blocking the work. In some cases, they can tow or fine.
