This is probably the most un-exciting BMW //M car. Just not feeling it. The car looks unfinished.

Well you and Henry are going to be very disappointed when the F32 M3 looks like a baby version of this.

BMW has clearly chosen to go "one shape, three sizes" like Audi did with the 4/6/8.

Good thing that I have zero interest in next generation M3 then.

I guess they are all trying to save some money on the design department.

Wow that looks weak. I'm a huge fan of the E39 and E60 M5...but wow it looks bland in these photos. Hopefully it looks better in person than it does in the pics.

Guess the embargo just lifted, here's official set of pics - http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=511101

Over 100+ pics. It looks better in the real life shots than the ones from BMW IMHO.

Still painfully bland for an M car...and very disappointing in this concept form, IMO.

That said, silver on high gloss black wheels was a poor decision and I look forward to seeing a more finished version.

as ugly as bangle's design where everyone complained, I like it muuuuuch better than this. at least I can tell it's a 5 series, not a 3 on steroids

to me it's backwards. this M5 is the big version of the M3

The white one is just a photoshop though. Iirc, that was done by one of the talented guys over on bimmerpost. I'm guessing you could almost always find a rendering that looks better than the real life versions.

^ Agreed. The 30" wheels help, too.
