I like it, Lexus deserves credit for listening.
I thought the panel discussion between the industry design experts was going to be more in-depth. The discussion points were so shallow and pointless but they did like it a lot, almost too much, I'm curious if they were even allowed to criticize it.

I thought the 10 min video on the Lexus site was a nice behind the scenes look at the car as far as some of the whys and how's of certain elements where incorporated. Mark did say that many parts of what we see will be in future Lexus cars and I'm anxious to see what those elements are.

Had the opportunity to attend the preview event earlier tonight and snapped a few pics for you guys. The lines on the car are exception in person. It just looks mean.
A little bit too '5 series' for me but overall it's a pretty good looking car in person.
The presentation began on the walls while the car was covered up.
My Knicks just gave away another game (thanks Jared Jeffries you 7 foot woman) so I'm tying angry right now, lol so didn't have time to format them like I wanted to.

what a design abomination. it's like someone showing up to work with a darth vader mask on with a same old boring suit.
if the designing the next 5 series competitor is about making a noise with big corporate grill then lexus got this all wrong. they can't possibly think this would work. not even TRDfantasy, 1sick or any other lexus homers can defend this horrid concept.

it appears all staged and unexciting. mellow.
I would not have hired fashion designers to critique a car.
Based on what Mark Templin said, the gaping grille is coming to a lexus near you.
I surely hope lexus has had lots of positive feedback from many many many focus groups regarding that gaping grille...... cuz i have a feeling it will scare a sizable number of customers away.
can you imagine what the LS would look like had they incorporated a gaping grille ? I know it's just a cut and paste job, but how could this even look good on an LS ?!
