Honestly.... I was expecting more (Something NEW - interior, engine specs, etc)
Especially after the early release of pics/video, I thought maybe we would see the real 4GS... but just seeing the same stuff again made this "reveal" meaningless... (IMO).
If Lexus kept EVERYTHING under wraps ... this reveal would have had the chance to very exciting.

Im just intrested on how and if they apply remote touch in here how it would operate with the gear shift lever. hope they dont place it like how its placed in the RX or a tiny lever like in the HS and CT, maybe it would be something like the shifter in the MB models on the column at the steering wheel. because it seems too big to have it right next to the driver and have a shifter there too, not enough space for all of that right there.

Great post Regg and G star!
Word is the grill is to shock...won't make production, it will get a grill like the DJ or knic PS like below...
Also seems the intent was for sides that didn't have 1,000 creases like how everyone else is doing today. The Lexus design team feels that trend is very played out already.

Could Gel with either of those 'chops.
Also, I wasn't looking for the sides to be swoopy and creasy, but a contrasting character line to the bottom would have gone a long way to livening up the sides and taken away from the monotonous slab sided-ness without being "played out".

This is too predictable and if it turns out anything remotely as this all this talk about new styling and this concept was for nothing.
They have to keep some concept cues either in recessed headlights, aggressive grill, taillight arc or two parallel sharp lines at the trunk.

Thanks for the pictures!
The car does look very nice. In fact, the photos show the beauty of the car much better than the official photos.
I look forward to seeing the new GS soon! If the next gen IS looks similar to that, that will be impressive.

I do really like the simplicity and subtle aggression of this design. I'd like to see a little more emotion put into it before production, but I think that as a "first shot", I like what I see.
The in-person pics definitely swayed my opinion, so thanks to you guys who attended the event.
One thing that just came to mind: Everyone that I have spoken to who has seen the 4GS has said it's an evolution of the current car with more curves and texture (a la Infiniti M, as I heard from two different sources). Considering those comments and looking at this car is sort of puzzling to me, because the curves on the LF-Gh are far and few between. It's mostly hard lines and sharp creases.
Makes me wonder if the 4GS will be significantly from this concept.

The LFA style steering looks good. The interior seems to be BMW-esque with the wood and silver accent across the dash. Btw what is that dial on the console?

interior looks gorgeous, even if it has some bmw to it, just like the CT. They seem to changed the way remote touch looks with the square pad. Weird how they did not switch to an electronic transmission shifter, and the shifter **** looks overly huge
