I do feel special since I have an LS460. I know this one is highly modified, but I still feel very surprised that they are using an LS and not the Maybach

Wow, way to go Lexus! Very nice! It's little things like that further elevate the brand . Could this be a possible hint of the next-gen LS going even more upmarket?

It's made of polycarbonate, so I would guess yes. Polycarbonate is a key material used in making bulletproof windows.

Actually, Landaulets were quite common in the 1910s and 1920s in Europe well before the ***** even appeared on the big screen.

And Landaulets were also very "common" with high-end brands in the 1950s and 1960s. Two famous cars come to mind: the 1950s Mercedes 300 Adenauer and the 1960s Lincoln Continental.

Prince Albert is a big advocate of environmental issues. That is probably why he chose the hybrid version of the LS.

I kinda like this. doesn't look half bad, although I never have been a fan of Landaulet's. Actually gives a sneak peep into what the 460/600 would look like in convertable form and I have to say that I think it might be quite attractive.

This is very true. The fact that the prince of a European nation chooses to ride an LS to his wedding will help to bolster his constituency's perception of Lexus. It is little things like this that will gradually elevate the Lexus brand to the point where the general public will perceive Lexus to be an equal of MB and Bentley, instead of just a cheaper alternative to them.
