I would take an '04 S2000 over an '02 Boxster S. I like the fact that the AP2 S2000 has a glass rear window, something the Boxster doesn't have until '03. However, I would choose a restyled '05+ Boxster S over the S2000.
The SC430 is a nice car but far from a driver's car. It doesn't really fit in with your list, but I'd choose it as a daily over your other choices.

The S2000 has plenty of feedback. A lot of people just don't like it because the variable ratio is done electronically instead of with hydraulics and they knee-jerk reject any steering that is electronic. My only complaint about the S2000 is a bit of dampening on center, but this is not as big a problem for me as the high steering ratio near center on the Boxster. As I mentioned in my post, maybe if the Boxster steering feel was as good as the 911 I'd rate these two differently.
haha I owned, and tracked, a s2000 for about 4 years. The steering is very responsive, however there really isn't any feedback. It's the only complaint i (and many other owners) have about the car. The shifter feels amazing though
I've had some seat time with a cayman (not quite a boxster, but pretty close), and the communication/feedback you get through the steering wheel is far superior to the eps system in the s2000.
! Bone stock and in pristine condition.

Summer times almost here (California) and I've always wanted a convertible weekend car. Must be Manual since I really miss it. Which convertible would you pick for $20,000 max?

-MY04-05 s2k, cable throttle as opposed to the 06+ which came with drive-by-wire (someone mentioned glass window, but the MY00-01 s2ks were the only ones w/ the plastic windows. 02+ all had glass windows)
