Actually, the 2011 Audi A8 is an internet Hot Spot. It doesn't surprise me that Mercedes is developing it as well, but Audi's on top of the game as well as anyone for now...

what he is saying is that Lexus/Toyota doesnt get enough props for its innovations, which are probably more than MB's in past decade.

having internet in the car ....not a great achievement. I have it in my car too. and it was a 2003 mazda6.
fyi...all you need is one of three:

1. a mobile broadband router like from sprint
2. a phone capable of working like a router eg. HTC topaz, touch diamond, hd7, etc
3. a satellite communication like Directv broadband. This is the more complex solution.
