Where abouts in Alberta are you from CDNROCKIES? Banff? Calgary? I'm from Edmonton, and it's been a crazy year for snowfall. Luckily, we missed the snow that hit Calgary and got some much needed rain instead.

Yes, I know Subie is not a luxury or prestige brand per se. I was basically just replying to Kostamojen's post about how good they are in snow.

The fact that my SUV's are diesels is part of it. I also like the safety factor. But the main reason for the SUV's aside from the weather is this...our 100 lb fur baby likes her space.
I hope she doesn't leave too much of her fur IN that space. Thick-furred dogs can shed like crazy in the spring...it gets all over things.

First off, it's her not "it".

Second, she eats just about whatever she wants...lol. Since we don't have kids yet, my wife makes sure our dog is well fed too.

I wish Mike.

She sheds heavily twice year, once in the spring and once in the fall. They're just vehicles....nothing some time and a vacuum cleaner can't sort out.

My friend has a WRX and it's so fun to drive in the snow. I don't like SUV's so the Subaru appeals to me.
