Shows that Toyota can pull through almost any obstacle thrown against it. I wonder how the earthquake will affect these numbers.

The Toyota numbers are good but for me the impressive one is Lexus. In little over 20 years they have a built a brand with the same equity as Audi and 50% of that of Ford and VW, two long established brands.

Well this is a good and bad thing. Meaning
Toyota is first and foremost a Jap company not an American company. I really would like to see an American car company in the top spot. It also shows just how much people love Toyota in American. I respect Toyota b/c I love the way they push the limits and are about their business. But I hate the way they duplicate/overlap their own vehicles where they don't seem to be special at all.

20 years in USA... but only 5-6 after they opened in Japan, China and many other world wide countries.
