Ferrari P4/5 Competizione @ the ring + LFA crash
Jim Glickenhaus (Wall St trader)'s modified one off Ferrari (based off a 430 scud) racing at the ring.
Forward to 8:10 to see LFA take out a Porsche GT3 lol

The course is actually straight there in other configurations - the Veedol/NGK chicane in its present form wasn't actually implemented until Schumacher's redesign of the GP course in 2003. I believe the old config is still used for some races such as motorbikes, but I don't know which series use which config. Of course there is really no way to tell why the driver made the mistake - I wonder who was at the wheel at the time. It explains why the LFA was in the pits for a while during VLN 1! Hopefully, the Porsche was not significantly damaged either.

Anyway, had a look at most of the vid. Don't think the driver was asleep, just probably pushing too hard. The P4/5 and the LFA were mincing it up with the GT3 Porsches for a few laps, and it seems like the were being constantly muscled out of the racing line in the corners.

Not a fan of the P4/5 Competizione, since it's just an F430 Scuderia unlike the real Ferrari P4/5, which is Enzo-based (in fact, the last Enzo chassis). The P4/5 Competizione isn't backed by Ferrari - heck, Ferrari won't even sell Glickenhaus parts for it. If it were Enzo-based like the original (or the real Ferrari P4/5) it wouldn't seem so distasteful.

still, they must have had some practice runs in that config
the speed was quite fast where he should have braked
too bad it ended up like that
was the LFA still in running condition after that crash?
what result did the LFA get if it wasnt DNF

It seems there was not much damage, since LFA of the Gazoo team did not too bad (ninth overall) in the race this weekend.

No, there are aluminum subframes both front and back. The doors are CF.
Those results are from VLN 3 last weekend. The video in the OP is from VLN 1 months ago.
