That is not true nor is the converse.

There was a study that showed more people in orange county would rather live in a crappy house and drive a nice car than visa versa. I know a large handful of people who drive 100k cars, yet live in not so desirable areas or rent very average apartments.

thats because they do not fit the OP's description. 100k max, neither of those are even close to being below 100k. He also wants it new, so used is out of the question

half the suggestions in this thread doesn't make sense.

The two best cars i see are still the c63 coupe and the xk.

Oh ok, he drives a re-badged Camry and an SUV, he must be loaded. Let me guess, he's an aspiring 25k millionaire. People who have 100K to blow on a car, don't get advice from a car forum.

Can't wait for Sicklex to come back with a lame Jersey Shore joke.

For under 100k, the Lotus Evora came to mind. It's unique, very rare to see on the roads, and looks pretty damn sick. But all that money to blow on a car....talk about baller!

Ok just read it.

3 Fully loaded Kia Optima SX turbo.

come to think of it, 100k doesn't really get you much these days eh? not even a decently loaded 911.

The Maserati Quattroporte, Mercedes SL550, and Lexus LS600h would be good choices.
