A V6 won't increase sales significantly, because when customers are buying in this class, they choose a 4 banger 90+% of time .

My question still stands (and you don't need to answer it unless you actually have the answer, thanks).
doesnt Rav4 V6 sell rather well?

I like Sportage look a LOT better.

And Hyundai really doesnt know what to do with their Hyundai/KIA brands.

In US, It is KIA that has stronger engine... but in Europe, it is Hyundai that has stronger engine.

imho, it was definition of cheap and stale. Like granma's couch from 70's, you know?

The RAV4 sells mostly in it's 4 cylinder form, and it sells very well in the US. Toyota said earlier that they expected to sell 70% I4's.

btw-Sportage turbo is nearly as quick as V6 Rav4.

So Kia will tend to have sportier approach than Hyundai in the US market I guess...

Sportage turbo is probably more costly to produce than Rav4 V6... I expected it to be actually faster.

If you guys talked about need for both turbo and v6, i agree, it doesnt make sense at all.

The V6 Rav4 is very quick for this class of vehicle, based on the tests I've seen.

Of course a small portion of the buyers (me) like turbo and V6 options, but when we look at what how the best-selling small SUV in the US is equipped, I guess that pretty much sums it up.
