Did the ZR-1 driver leave his parking brake on? I didn't expect it to beat everyone, but I didn't expect it to be THAT far behind.

That's one thing I hate about these Japanese race/camparo/tests (PS I don't speak Japanese so I have no idea what they were saying), but so many variables come into play when each car has a different driver. I'd love to see them switch cars every lap and average the times. Better yet, 1 dedicated driver (aka the Stig) that tests each car individually. But thanks for the vid. It sure was fun to watch.

^PS my post came after, but I'm not hating. . . every one of those cars is something awesome to behold. I love each and every model (for different reasons). . . I would do nasty, obscene things to them.

No matter what the outcome is, I've never really taken Best Motoring videos as anything else than entertainment. They seem to be out there trying to have more fun than really getting the best time around the track (I can hardly blame them ).

I love the ZR1, but really didn't think it would be that behind. Maybe the drivers aren't use to shifting LHD cars? The GTR launched like a rocket though.

Great video and not too surprised with the results. GTR's combo of AWD and big power is hard to beat. GT2RS is a track-bred racing machine so I'm not surprised there either. Very happy with the LFA's performance and that footage is great! It out handled and actually out powered the GT2 in a few of the curves, though the straight aways were a great place for the Porsche to shine

First of all, I love the LF-A. Its just disappointing to see a $375k car falling behind by 3 seconds to a $87k GT-R.

The GT-R just looked way to easy to drive. The LF-A looked MUCH more entertaining to drive, especially the amazing engine noise inside the car
