It is going to be Toyota everywhere, I don't understand why it is a Scion here. What? Toyota already has four sport cars in its lineup already? The fact is it has NONE.
As much as I don't like how it's branded a Scion here...I absolutely hate rebadging a car as something else (I'm looking at all you RSX's with Integ badges and red H's). I would keep it badged as a Scion. But it's more likely that I would have bought the Subaru version!
Making it a Scion means no discounts to buyers, AFAIK. Also, I totally agree that rebadging it is no different than People with Integras putting the Honda emblem on.

childish in my opinion. Doesnt do a damn thing for me at all. In fact it just looks stupid. The funny thing is that they think people will not know that its still a scion
I would do whatever the JDM version is, so slap a Toyota emblem on it for me.
Stinks that it's not badged as Toyota, but you aren't fooling anyone into thinking you didn't buy a Scion.
Not necessarily. Because it's such a new car and is a Toyota elsewhere in the world, a Toyota emblem might trick people on the road, even those who are familiar with the car.
But I will say that rebadging in general looks lame to those who've done their homework. And as for fooling the people who don't know any better, they simply don't care. So it's a catch 22.
But again, if you were to rebadge any car and get away with it, the FRS might be it.
^ Couldn't agree with you more. But I'll admit, when I saw the concept for the Toyota version, the badge looked like it would fit well with the car. Hopefully this can boost scion's image with a new vehicle.
