It was on public roads so it was bound to be spotted by someone with a camera. In addition, it was all covered up anyways so I don't understand why anyone would force him to remove it.

You bet.
Someone retrieve it from your temp folder, post it and get a free cup holder!
I guess Google gets a free cup holder.

Yea the pictures are back up, anyways now that I look closer into the pics I noticed the rims look very similar to the G37XS rims. This can be the new G37.

In California.
Manufacturer's plates are issued by states to company's that manufacturer vehicles so that the vehicles can be driven on public roads without being registered so they can still be sold as new vehicles to the 1st buyer. Plates usually come from the state the vehicle is manufactured in or point of entry port state or state of North American Headquarters. For instance Porsche's are imported in Florida but PCNA headquarters is in Atlanta so most are issued a GA plate #16403 although some are trucked directly to CA for use in their western region press fleet where they are issued a CA plate & copy of insurance carrier. Carroll Shelby has a few manufacturer's plates in CA.
