Lincoln promises to match BMW & Lexus, make pigs fly

Clearly he hasn't driven some of the competition b/c in many cases they mix both.

It's possible.

Just as long as they can significantly change their designs. Their grilles are too distracting, and Lincolns truly are chromed versions of Ford products...

Ford product chief Derrick Kuzak really needs to evaluate the overly decorative front ends of his Lincolns....the design looks like it was probably inspired by his moustache!

As long as they make a dedicated move towards improving the brand, I'm all for it.

If this just ends up being year after year of PR releases

then it's another story.

I love the thread title. It would be nice if Lincoln could be something more than what Mercury used to be, namely spiffed up Fords.

Why, Lincoln already matches both BMW and Lexus, even exceeds them. Lincoln cars are even less sporty than Lexus, and are even more unreliable and cheaply built than BMW's.

Sounds like mission accomplished
