Overview
Exclusive F Sport™ Equipment [1] [2] and a range of premium features make this IS 350 C a convertible for the true driving enthusiast.
A Look All Its Own
The black and red semi-aniline leather trim with red contrast stitching interior comes with your choice of two eye-catching exterior colors—Obsidian or Starfire Pearl. The distinct F Sport badging on the front fenders as well as on the center console clearly indicates that this is not your average IS 350 C. It's the F Sport Special Edition. And as its name implies, this vehicle offers much more than premium styling.

Next planned reviews:
2012 Subaru Impreza, when released (which is all-new for 2012).
2012 Ford Escape, when released (which is also all-new).
2012 all-electric Nissan Leaf (this may be difficult, though, because of the way that Nissan markets it and requires it to be sold/leased).
In the meantime, I may do some others. The new 2011 Chrysler 300, for example, like the new Dodge Charger, seems to have some excellent new improvements for this year.

That was a great read. I think Lexus did a relatively good job with the car, however the only aspect that bothers me is the proportions of the rear end. In person, it looks really strange with the high rear deck and large tail lights. It is subjective I guess. Lexus will only improve on the next generation and hopefully with a more usable backseat and a more powerful base engine. Btw, I checked the Lexus website and it states the Ultrasonic Blue is also available on the F-Sport IS sedan.

There is some confusion here. The regular 2010 IS convertible had Ultrasonic Blue. The 2011 does not. The color was reserved for the 2011 F-sport package IS250 and 350 four-door models and the IS-F. The special edition convertible F-sport is different and does not include USB. It only comes in black or white.

Nice review on the car man. As an owner of a 2007 SC430, I can relate to the "you should have offered a 6 cylinder version". I've owned both an SL500 and an SL320 in the past and really enjoyed my 320. Love my SC, plan on driving it for a long time, but sure wish the brains at the Lexus mothership had agreed with you.

Thanks. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Did you buy your SC430 brand-new? That 61K-starting-price is obviously not chump-change. You must have really liked the car it to bite the bullet and spend that kind of money, V8 and all. The few people I know of driving brand-new or relatively new SCs either own their own small-buisnesses or have high-paying jobs in others.

Cheap gas or not, the SC's 61K+ price-of-entry is almost as high as that of the LS460, despite the SC not being considered the Lexus flagship. There may not be a way of actually proving it hands-down discussing it here,, but I still think that a lower-priced V6 version (perhaps in the 40-50K range like the GS350) would have had a significant market. It certainly had a market for the 1Gen SC300 model.
