The interior seems to have a lotof Honda influence... Especially by the air vents section!!! All in all not a bad looking car!!

I agree.

The current smoother, egg shape looks much better, imo.

I still don't get the whole center console idea. I actually drove mine the other day for a brief time...and as per usual...had no idea how fast I was going or where to look....lol.

Granted, it is very rare that I actually drive it....but every time I get in it I am confused...hahaha.

Not sure if I'm a fan of the exterior. It looks more awkward than the current model IMO. Interior looks pretty good for its class though. I hope this is a Japan-only model, as that model would not work that well in Europe (or in the US) personally.

The xD is a nice niche offering between Yaris and Matrix. Certainly not a wasted offering even as sales have slowed. I praise Toyota for offering as many small cars as they do and significantly distinguishing them, not mearly re-badging.
xD is very nice... it is like Toyota of olds, very good build, conservative looks and driving it feels like it will last forever and ever.

The center double exhaust looks like overkill for a 100~hp car...

Of course, here in the US (as always) we get limited engine choices while Europe get's a whole array of choices.

The Yaris only gets the 1.5, 106hp unit here. Which is a great balanced engine mid range of what is offered elsewhere.

I await what the next new one will have. I expect a small bump in power as well as efficiency. Maybe 110-115hp and I hope they do something to compete with the Fiesta's 30/40 rating. They'll need a high geared transmission to do it.

I still don't think that's the Yaris that Europe and North America will get. It doesn't have that many styling cues from the iQ or Corolla Verso.

they still did not release 1.5 NR engine.,, 1.33 is here and it is good engine.

I wonder if they might use 1.6l ZR Engine, probably without Valvematic for US market, and 124hp. and Europe might get 1.8l TS with 147hp.

The only exterior variable is the bumpers and wheels. The US market probably won't see the most aggressive silver one posted. Although, it may very well be the "S" model. We'll get the conservative version in base form.

The current Yaris is pretty much the same worldwide outside of trim and engine differences. Same lights and everything.

I wonder what the hell is going on why they don't spread valvematic throughout the whole line up worldwide.
