Yea I did, and just as I stated, subcompact means "smaller than a compact".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subcompact_car
Subcompact car is a North American term used to describe automobiles whose class size is smaller than that of a compact car, usually not exceeding 165 inches (4,191 mm) in length, but larger than a microcar. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a passenger car is classified as subcompact if it has between 85 cubic feet (2,407 L) and 99 cu ft (2,803 L) of interior volume.
2012 Accent:
Length: 172 in.
Total interior volume: 103.4 cu ft.
EPA: Compact
Nissan Versa:
Length 176 in.
Total interior volume: 108 cu ft.
EPA: Midsize
Lexus IS:
Length: 180 in.
Total interior volume: 99 cu ft.
EPA: Sub-compact
That is all I'm trying to say.

Actually Road and Track likes to get the best numbers. If you suggest that I look at Insideline data then I simply suggest you look at Car and Driver and Motortrends Data.

The most realistic 0-60 times are posted by Consumer Reports. That is because they do their 0-60 runs just like how an average person would do it from a stoplight.....they launch it from idle. The other car magazines sometimes get better times because they use launching techniques that are abusive to a car.

Id really like to see a comparison of this the Genesis 5.0 R-Spec vs the Infiniti M56S. Those two seem like direct competitors. Similar dimensions, power, ammentities and upscale lux/sport segment (non tier 1)

On a side note, there was a 4.6 Genesis that did a ricer fly by on me last year. I saw him tail me and then pass me. Good for him that I was convoying with my wife's A5 convertible or I would have put him in his place.
Some drivers are clueless, so, with this 5.0 Rspec in their hands, I am sure some of them would challenge IS-Fs. Well, they will find their clues the hard way.

This is definitely correct.

Does she drive the A5 that is powered by the 211 hp turbo 4-cylinder or the 265 hp 3.2 V6?

The point is you can't just post and reference the fastest/best data, you have to also take into account the slower data and not so favorable data to get a clear picture of a vehicle. Median/Average things of that nature, not just "omg, 0-60 in the time I like it".

i dont think someone looking into 70k 5 series is going to consider Hyundai... One look at interior will tell you why. 2nd reason is simply the badge.
Based on my long experience in selling cars, people buy cars based on their budget. IE they pick among best 40k options they can, if their budget is 40k. They switch classes, brands, premium, etc.
So it is rarely you have people saying: should I get 36k Hyundai or should I get 70k 5 series?
It is usually more like: I have 35-40k, should I get: Genesis, RX, ES, G, IS, 3 series, A4, CC, etc, etc.
