Default Another bike vs. car race: Aprilia RSV4 vs Nissan GT-R

For those who don't know, Aprilia is the "other" Italian superbike brand.

When it was released in 2008, the Nissan GT-R shook the world of fast cars to its core, obliterating more powerful competition from more heralded automakers to set a new lap record at the Nurburgring. It did that using not raw power, but advanced electronics that made it both faster and more controllable than any car before. The Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC SE promises to do the same thing to the bike world using launch control, wheelie control, traction control, and quickshift optimized for performance not safety. But, which revolutionary vehicle is faster, bike or car?

Thought the GT-R would be beat worse than that. Wonder how the '12 GT-R would do.

I thought it was the 2012. The spec was 530bhp.

Can anyone confirm if the Euro specs are different than the US specs?

Aprilia may be using Euro specs, even though it uses US pricing...

Hey man, 3 seconds is a long time! Looked like a pretty intense race to me.

That's true, I just thought the GT-R did better than I thought it would. Bike vs Bike and Car vs Car with 3 second difference is one thing but Bike vs Car and only 3 sec difference says a lot especially since this GT-R and Bike are both stock.
