Cool Lightweight BMW M3 CRT Sedan just announced - 450hp

M3 CRT: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=548729

New lightweight M3 model with 450hp and 100-150lb lighter than regular model.

Not liking that weird red accents, but the matte silver paint looks nice.

Its been a good run for this generation of M3's.

The seats are nice, looks like a variation of the BMW Performance Seats.

Looks like some mods to the suspension and brakes too.

Front and rear axle enhanced by rigid rear axle subframe
Coilover suspension with individually adjustable dampers
6-piston fixed calipers with low-weight compound construction
378x32 mm front brake rotors / 380x28 mm rear rear rotors
Stahflex brake lines

Its about time for them to boost the M# motor a bit. The ISf and the C63 are much torquier . I still its funny that they are bragging about a 3500 lb curb weight. Thats not impressive for a car that is the size of a Honda civic. 3100 lbs would be impressive. They should also not be doing a limited run. They should raise the standard car to these performance levels

M3's motor is about high strung and high revving..........not about torque.

Cars of this size with these level of equipments are all pushing 4000 lbs, 3500 lbs is consider light.

3100 lbs is MP4-12C, 458.....etc. It needs much more exotic material.

This thing got everything the GTS got, the GTS is $170k. How many people do you think would buy a $170k M3 sedan?
