I'm more talking about the future, not this time, the plans of which have already been set in stone. At some point they just have to take the temporary hit on one of the "aging" models and swap the order of the releases of these twins in order to signify Lexus's premium status.
Be more receptive to customers' wants, needs and demands during the MMC instead of waiting for the FMC.

On the CT it changes the entire mood of the car for the better IMO.
The Camry does not need LEDs, even on the hybrid, to compete with the Optima or Sonata. Heck it was among the first and only to offer projectors standard. Those alone would suffice.

i thought LS400 was created specifically with Lexus in mind? RWD Toyota's were always Japan-Only models.
there is clear path for Toyota to differentiate on multimedia features - for instance I bet ES will have:
1. Larger screen than 6.1"
2. Higher resolution screen
3. Faster CPU in Entune
4. Remote Touch to control it
Doesnt really matter which one is out month before or after... ES will have more advanced features than Camry.

They should have gone with more tech for the CT, and if Prius and Camry hybrid get LEDs, then the CT should have them standard. I think it would have been best had they kept the LEDs exclusive to Lexus, and standard on all models as a distinctive Lexus design trait.

That "German" pricing policy made the car popular in Europe.

Looks like it's taken from a teaser video shown to the dealers in China.
Here's the original article with video:

The LS-like headlights featured in the Japanese magazine are unfortunately consistent with these new spy pics, although we know the US version has zigzagged headlights and a body-colored grille instead of course.
Slightly higher-res pics:

Glad that's not sold in NA, but still stupid. Why can't they just give Lexus its own design elements? What's the point of coming up with Lexus design elements and then applying them to Toyotas?
