They could solve this problem (at least partially) if they made their mid-model changes more significant. Don't just change the easy things like the front and rear bumper, and head- and tail-lights; change interior things like the nav / entertainment system, climate controls, etc. Be willing to change the complete dashboard and centre console if the new nav / entertainment system will not fit in the existing dash (like what Mercedes-Benz recently did with the MMC of their C-Class).

Be more receptive to customers' wants, needs and demands during the MMC instead of waiting for the FMC.

They should have gone with more tech for the CT, and if Prius and Camry hybrid get LEDs, then the CT should have them standard. I think it would have been best had they kept the LEDs exclusive to Lexus, and standard on all models as a distinctive Lexus design trait.

On the CT it changes the entire mood of the car for the better IMO.

The Camry does not need LEDs, even on the hybrid, to compete with the Optima or Sonata. Heck it was among the first and only to offer projectors standard. Those alone would suffice.

there is clear path for Toyota to differentiate on multimedia features - for instance I bet ES will have:
1. Larger screen than 6.1"
2. Higher resolution screen
3. Faster CPU in Entune
4. Remote Touch to control it

Doesnt really matter which one is out month before or after... ES will have more advanced features than Camry.
Eh....Cressida, Corona, Gen 1-3 Celica, 1-4 Corolla, Supra, MR2.

actually, Lexus did awesome job with CTh... it is optional, if you want it, buy it.
That "German" pricing policy made the car popular in Europe.

Looks like it's taken from a teaser video shown to the dealers in China.

Here's the original article with video:

The LS-like headlights featured in the Japanese magazine are unfortunately consistent with these new spy pics, although we know the US version has zigzagged headlights and a body-colored grille instead of course.

Slightly higher-res pics:

I think I see a hint of the Lexus "arrow head motif". If so Toyota are idiots.

Well it's not unlike the current Chinese/ASEAN Camry in that regard, although with more horizontal slats in the grille it does look more like a Lexus.

Glad that's not sold in NA, but still stupid. Why can't they just give Lexus its own design elements? What's the point of coming up with Lexus design elements and then applying them to Toyotas?
