it does? i thought it looks good overall, better than on those grainy JDM pics... why would cup holders be covered?

It would be cool for Toyota to bring back the "silver taupe metallic" color for this.

That was my favorite Camry color on the 92-96.

This is on the Canadian test cycle though, which is quite different than the U.S one.

The V6 shaves off 0.4 L/100KM from the current model on the highway at least judging from the mag.
it says it is using old 2.4l hybrid, which is wrong... so i wonder what did they get right, except for the pics.

EDIT: Looking at the page I can make out the new readings

OLD: 7.5 L/100KM combined for 4cyl
8.7 L/100KM combined for V6

I think this is accurate, they excluded the Hybrid ratings. Nice improvement if we can take their word.

Looks good to me. I like it. Wonder how it drives? If it's sporty like they say, it should be the new benchmark.

Because it looks a lot classier that way (IMHO).

I guess it's just that the JDM version had my expectations set too high. The new US-spec'd Camry is still obviously a decent improvement over the current one for sure.

Fold down rear seats, 3475lbs for the SE, looks like 3 trim levels by the color of the seats.

yeah but hp/tq for all 3 engines are exactly the same, while we know hybrid will be different... also they list hybrid as 300l trunk, while we know it will be bigger.

also lenght is same to the 1mm, which is what i doubt.

now i see what you are talking about - JDM is more like an lexus in console and wood overall... to me USDM looks more playful (keep in mind that world version is a lot more expensive car).... especially that part going over the passanger vent, looks cool, not booring.

The Fuel economy ratings they have in the article are different than the ones they have in the tech specs part.
