IMO, that interior looks like some aftermarket hack job. What model is that?

 

with leather wrapped dash, i would guess it is XLE. Tough crowd to please I see.

 

NICE looking interior. no doubt that's top of the line model, but huge kudos to toyota for realizing they just been LAME-O on the camry interior.

 

The design looks nice but it looks like material/color overkill. Black leather, gray leather, and what is that material on the seat cushion and lower seat back? Looks like some sort of composite fabric like Scion uses?

 

i would rather say what Europeans use, like BMW with their half leather interiors in Europe. If anything, this looks better.

Whole thing looks very European with dark interior vs usual light grey crap.

 

apperantly, XLE should be even cheaper than before, despite added things like leather dash and 6.1" multimedia standard...

how do you mean? whats the difference, if Audi/BMW/MB can use fake leather that usually looks bad imho, why cant Toyota? :-).

You're wrong. GM uses fake leather on the dash. Mercedes and BMW usually don't put leather on the dash unless you order it as an option.

On the BMW 550i I have ordered, I am paying $2000 extra for a Nappa leather dash. Nappa is BMWs premium leather above the standard Dakota leather. Certainly not fake, and it looks outstanding.

 

i meant leather for the normal models is fake-o, unless you pay premium for real leather.

i doubt this will look bad, there is no reason to assume that leather anything will ever look worse than plastics... i bet it will look just like on CTh, except across complete dash... Toyota has been using leather dash on their JDM models for a while now (certain models).
