I am with you especially on the Audi grilles but don't tell anyone that I agreed with you because I have already agitated some Audit fans
Well, if people are going to post in a public chat-forum, especially on matters like auto-styling (which is highly-subjective), they are going to have to expect that others will sometimes disagree with them. In my 38,000+ posts, I've had people disagree with me lots of times...you just accept it as part of life.
The grill is just obnoxious and pointlessly big. This generation of Chebbies is a huge black stain on GM's design record. The previous generation looked really nice.
Anybody else think the ends of the bumper look like those big round mirrors in stores that let you see a really wide angle?

Kinda looks like the Chevy stylists had the same problem as the boy trying to spell "banana" . . . they just didn't know when to end it.
What do you attribute this Era of "Butt Ugly Grills" to, economics, lack of design creativity, the bean counters or just indifference?

None of the above. I attribute it to the tendency of auto designers today to make a bunch of changes (often unneeded or for the worse) just for changes' sake. There seems to be an attitude today that you either change or die....which is sheer nonsense.
