To each their own in terms of mods but the funny thing is the ad has horrendous spelling and grammar (what do you expect from craigslist though).
Although I'm curious as to what the screamers are (external speakers).

Craigslist?? Be REALLY careful here. That sounds like a scam - sorta like the $4800 VW Touareg I found that was bait for a 419 scam. BB was at least $16-18K.
That said, I ended up buying a beater from Craigslist and have been very happy with it. You just need to do your "due diligence" and go over everything (including title) with a fine-tooth comb. Carfax can help, but it's not the whole story.

People with common sense don't fall for the Craigslist scams. The people who really think a '08 G35 sedan can be had for $2,500 and actually contact the owner - that's a different story. A lot of people who use Craigslist have the best intentions, I've sold stuff from my old 528i to my OEM IS lobster claw wheels to a microwave.
