I could see how it could work. Just like those who use a supercharger and a turbo, where the supercharger is tuned and works well on the lower RPM while the larger turbo's kick in on the higher RPM for a strong power curve all without turbo lag. The electric turbo simply replaces the supercharger in this case.

So why do we need 3 still? At most, you'd want the electric "turbo" and the big normal turbo. What does the 3rd one bring to the table?
