A/C in Garage?

We have a ductless minisplit heat pump setup on our garage wall that is capable of both heating and cooling.
It cools more efficiently than it heats but we run a space heater to bring up the temp first when we do use it instead of running it all the time-- but it can maintain 55 degrees easily.
We have them in the main house too, and we can almost entirely heat the house with them and only use the baseboard heat when it's truly cold to prevent freezing of the pipes.
Our garage is not insulated as a living space but instead just as minimum required by building code.
Works fine.
Not cheap though about $4000.

Was flipping through a Northern Tool catalog today and seen this which is kind of awesome.

Out here in the DC area where it's 90% humidity, they just don't work.
EDIT: Sorry Gengar...just saw your post and I posted essentially the same thing.

I recently purchased a mobile AC unit from Lowes. I detailed my car a few weeks ago and it was 103 degrees in the garage at 1 am. Thats what prompted me to buy it. Works pretty well and since I have a 3 car garage its easy to just leave it on the side and it doesnt get in the way. It will make the garage cooler but not cold. I tried it but didnt pay attention to the thermostat . I am sure it will bring the temp down to at least 80 to 85 degrees though. I dont like the swamp cooler thing because I dont want the moisture blowing on the surface of the car when I am trying to get my wax and polish to dry and cure
