Pretty impressive, when I was a tech I saw a ton of older cars with ridiculously high mileage on them, right now I see a lot of cars in the 5-7 year range with 100-150k on them and some of them being BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, with blow out Nav screens, but it seems like the majority of the electronic components are lasting way longer then originally expected.
Right now I wanna see the current Gen LS/7and S with 300k on them, see what is still working

Impressive, just wondering how much money he spent to keep the car running...........I don't believe it never have problem, but you can basically keep it running as long as you have enough replacement part.
Most car got abandon because owner refused to replace worn part due to cost. 99% of people would rather spend the $$ on new car.
For ex. we are planning to put our 11 yrs old Corolla 130K miles into junk yard due to the increasing trouble: belts squeaking, bad battery/generator, waterpump, radiator, leaking coolant, two blow suspension, bearing, ball joint, radio dead, (3 out of 4) dead power window motor, rusted muffer/exhaust, CO sensor, paints are wearing-off, and etc things that I have no idea. All those above are overdue and the est cost is $2,700. (car only worth $1,500 now) Nevertheless, the engine+transmission are working flawlessly.
I'm sure I can keep it running with those repair, but we have no intention to put a dime on it anymore

You are right, there is a point where it is cheaper to buy another car then to keep fixing the same car.
This dude got 250k miles on his classic Lamborghini...........after 5 engine and tranny rebuilt

"I also think it should go in a nice, cozy museum where people will get to enjoy seeing the car that beat the odds -- all with the same engine, same radio, same axles, same transmission and of course the same driver," Gordon said.
It said its the same engine & transmission, that's very impressive if its true.

Depends what "same" means. You can replace 50% of the engine parts, have the rest rebuilt, but it's still the "same" engine. There is no way the engine went that long without major work, no way. If the owner claims so, he is lying.

It just means everything is rebuilt, it is still the same everything
