heavily modded GTR or there's something way wrong with the Bugatti... my buddies Z06 that makes 468 hp at the wheels walks away from stockish GTR's from a roll all day long...

Yeah i did assume it was a modded GT-R but to pull away like that from a Veyron is still pretty amazing.

Modded GTR for sure. But the Veyron's pride doesn't lie in it's ability to go from 40-150 really fast. It's its ability to reach top speeds that the GTR will never be able to AND the ability to get there with incredible stability. Still, I didn't expect the GTR to pull away that quickly or by that much.

468 at the wheels is probably 550+ at the crank (which is where the 530 figure for the GTR comes from), plus less drivetrain losses because its RWD and it also weighs 600-700 lbs less...

From a roll, it'd be closer, but still not huge competition...

That Bugatti's driver didnt turn the key on the side of the seat that unlocks the vehicles full power. Look it up.

That was a Switzer P800 GTR. A Veyron thats not using all the power wouldnt be able to keep up with the GTR as this one did so its pretty obvious that all 1000+ ponies are being used.

If true it makes sense because considering this (using 0-200 as an example since the gt-r walked it)

That would mean the GT-R is running 1000+ HP to not only beat the veyron, but to plain out run away is on a whole other level.

Maybe the dude was running the r1k kit, that would make it a race with the veyron using all 1000+hp, maybe even to stomp it.
