Yes you can but you waive your warranty goodbye.
Think about this, most people on this forum spend almost a grand on an intake/exhaust just to net a few more ponies.
$550 for that much power while still having warranty is a GREAT deal.

Making it an option is rather smart on BMW's end. Reflashing the ECU on their part is easy. It's hard not to milk some money in the process.

I bet that "kit" is just a more aggressive ECU setting and costs BMW nothing. That's the beauty of turbos though.

Most likely yes, but keep in mind increased cost of warranty repairs, and anything they need to fix before certifying a lease to sell pre owned.
